Popular Mexican Restaurant Opening Another Location In Western New York
“Pizza! Pierogies! Wings! Beef on weck!” Yes, we’re aware - Western New York does a lot of things well when it comes to food.
But it’s still It’s surprising when someone starts rattling off all of the cuisines Buffalo excels at, you don’t often hear Mexican food listed with the bunch. Why is that? Buffalo is more than just Mighty Taco, people! (Not that having a Mighty Taco on every corner is a bad thing…)
But after all, considering that members of the Latinx community make up over 12% of Buffalo’s population, it’s not hard to find a hometown Mexican restaurant that excels in authenticity - and word is there’s going to be a new one for foodies to try in the Southtowns.
Fiesta Bamba, a Mexican restaurant in Springville, has announced they’ll expand their business and open a second location about 20 miles away in Town Hall Plaza in Hamburg.
By the look of Fiesta Bamba’s Facebook page, it seems like their current spot, which sits at 60 South Cascade Drive in Springville, boats a large outdoor seating area.
After taking a glance at their menu, you’ll find that they serve several standard dishes you’ll find in your average Mexican restaurant, like tacos, burritos, enchiladas, nachos, and quesadillas. They also have combo meals and lunch specials, a smaller vegetarian menu, and some fun-looking cocktails and margaritas.
Whether the new Hamburg restaurant will be similar to their Springville spot in terms of seating and the menu remains to be seen (they’ll be going under renovations and hoping to open this November). Even so - it’s great to see any of our local restaurants not only survive the pandemic - but thrive and open up another location.
