Firefly Cupcakes Has Closed in East Aurora

After six and half years, Firefly Cupcakes in East Aurora has officially closed its doors. Owner Wendy Egloff posted to their website:

"I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Firefly Cupcakes.

Thanks your for being so incredibly supportive over 6 1/2 years. We have accomplished a grew more than I could have ever imagined."

The last day Firefly Cupcakes served cupcakes was Saturday, January 14th. Many Western New Yorkers, not just residents of East Aurora were able to enjoy their delicious cupcakes over the years.  Firefly's equipment will be auctioned off at their bakery on January 25th starting at 10am through Cash Realty & Auctions Jan. 25th.
