Forest Lawn released a statement yesterday regarding Pokemon Go and people who come to the cemetery to play the game. It seems they are aligning with Arlington National Cemetery and The Holocaust Museum in Washington D.C., who early this week released statements asking people not to play the game on the grounds out of respect. It was just this week that Pokemon Go caused legal issues in Lancaster.

It looks like you'll have to hit up Pokestops and look for Pokemon elsewhere.

It makes sense that they want to keep the cemetery a place people can go to reflect and visit with their love ones. I can only imagine being at a relative's grave when some trainers come walking by with no regard to their surroundings, looking for Pokemon (that's not to say all people are being disrespectful). There are plenty of other places that are full of Pokestops and Pokemon in Western New York.
