Garth Brooks Cancels Friday’s Ticket Sale in Buffalo, New York

In the wake of the tragedy that happened in Buffalo, New York on Saturday, Garth Brooks made an announcement regarding his upcoming concert in Western New York. On Monday, May 16 Garth's team announced that Friday's on-sale date for tickets has been postponed. Some Western New Yorkers were getting confused on social media thinking that the concert is canceled and that is not the case.

In the next couple of weeks, Garth Brooks' team will be announcing a new date that Buffalo can buy tickets to the show. As of right now, the Garth Brooks concert is happening just over 8 weeks away.

Out of respect, Garth Brooks has decided to postpone the Buffalo on sale that was scheduled for this Friday. The concert will still take place Saturday, July 23rd, 7:00 PM at Highmark Stadium.

"At some point, the healing in Buffalo will begin and the city will sing again. But for now, we pause out of respect for what the great community of Buffalo is going through, and we stand beside all of those who are hurting and confused by such an unthinkable act," said Garth Brooks.

A new on sale date will be announced in the coming weeks.
