I saw a post on Facebook in which someone was asking about getting grass fed beef and wondering where they could buy it in the Southtowns. This is actually a great question! In the past, it seemed that you had to order a half or quarter side of beef. Finding a place that will sell you a steak or two ,here and there, is something that I think a lot of people would like to know about.

After looking through the Facebook comments, I found at least nine options for those looking for grass, fed beef.

The Benefits Of Grass Fed Beef

Most of us want to feed our families the most nutritious and healthy food that we can. With a larger family that is constantly busy and on the go, it can be a challenge! But when we do get time to plan out a dinner and sit down together to eat, we try to make sure that it is a well balanced meal. Most of the time, that includes a good protein like BEEF!

According to what I have found, there are many benefits to grass fed and locally raised beef.

WebMB reports that, "tudies have found that grass-fed beef contains two to six times more omega-3 fatty acids than feed-lot beef. Omega-3 fatty acids have been found to help prevent and treat many diseases".
