How Do You Walk In These?

My guess the answer is practice.  I went to see Lee Ann Womack open for George and Reba on Friday in Cleveland and she hit the stage wearing these high heels. Actually I think they are referred to as spikes?  I have no idea how you walk in these things ladies.
