They claim it's a secret. But, I'm here to spill it.

Where is your favorite hibachi place? Fiji? Dao? You know that wherever you go, you dip your yum-yum sauce in your veggies, chicken or fried rice. Heck, you may even just douse it in sauce and use it like a salad dressing.

We were craving it last night so, we gave it our best attempt. Here is the receipe we used and it was pretty dang close, be careful with the ketchup.

  • 16 ounces mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2.5 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoons garlic powder (be careful on this...it's hard to come back from too much garlic powder)
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Some recipe's say to shake a little frank's hot sauce in there, but we didn't.
