4 Incredible Stats From The Bills Win Over The Chiefs

The Bills' win over the Chiefs was impressive last night.  But here are 4 stats that make it even more incredible.

Some people say that wins like the one the Bills pulled out last night over the Chiefs are Bills fans' Super Bowl.  That's because they think these are the biggest wins Bills fans will ever see.  Von Miller said after the game that you have to celebrate big wins like this one, and as Bills fans, you're right that we're going to.

The win was impressive, but here are 4 other stats from last night's game that are pretty amazing too.

1. Josh Allen's predicted chance of scoring on that 26 yard run

We've seen it happen before, so it doesn't seem like it's that impossible for Josh to do the things he does.  But NextGen stats looked at his 26-yard scurry to the end zone in the fourth quarter and figured that he only had a 1.2% chance of scoring on that play.

To think that he's never done that against the Chiefs before is kind of surprising.

2. The Bills have more wins over Patrick Mahomes than any other team in the NFL

According To Buffalo Bills PR, the Bills are the only team in the NFL to have beaten a Patrick Mahomes team 4 times.  Are they his biggest nightmare on the field?  Josh Allen's Bills and Patrick Mahomes' Chiefs first played each other in 2020.  Since then, they've played each other 8 times.  Last night's win for the Bills split the series 4-4 if you include playoff games.

3. Josh Allen is breaking Bills franchise records like crazy

Following his game against the Chiefs, Josh Allen has moved into second place in rushing touchdowns (58) and is tied with Jim Kelly when it comes to total touchdowns scored, passing and rushing combined (244).  Thurman Thomas still holds the Bills' records for rushing touchdowns at 65.

4. The Bills are taking the ball away every game

One of the biggest reasons the Bills are winning is that they are taking the ball away and protecting it when they have it.  Allen has only thrown 4 interceptions so far this year and the defense is taking it away every game.  They have taken the ball away at least once in every game this season.  Buffalo Bills PR says that this is the first time they've done that since the 2000 season.
