The Most Interesting Request On Facebook In Western New York
We see people go on Facebook to request things all the time. Sometimes it's something as basic as a certain tool for their workshop, or an appliance to get them by until they can buy a new one. But we've never seen a request like this before.
Someone is looking for "unused" hot dogs on Facebook
While scrolling through Facebook this morning, I saw a post from "Southtowns Scanner" claiming that someone was looking for some "leftover, unused hotdogs."
A local group of men is planning on collecting leftover, unused hot dogs for use as props in a video that is expected to go viral, following its release. The parking lot of the Tops Market in Hamburg has been selected as the designated hot dog drop off site, though the exact date and time of this occasion are still undetermined, at the time of this post.
This is a trending news story, and we will update with more information as it becomes available to us.
The comments were the best part
As you can imagine, with a post like this, plenty of people had questions. The one I'd like an answer to is, "What exactly is an unused hot dog?" Isn't an unused hot dog just a hot dog?
Also, how can someone expect a video to go viral? Normally, they either do or they don't. However, if the final product is as intriguing as this request is, there's a pretty good chance that it will go viral.
We will admit that this one seems a little fishy but it does make you wonder what the heck is going on here, doesn't it?
