Now, while ice fishermen and other folks who like to drive on Lake Erie might be a bit disappointed that most of the ice has melted on the Great Lakes, thousands of people are getting their boats ready to hit the water.
While it's not going to be perfect weather from here on out, as the water starts to warm up and the calendar inches closer to summer, people who love freshwater fishing are getting their poles, lures, and other fishing supplies ready.
The Detroit Free Press reported that various compounds have been found in Lake Huron and Lake Erie waters.

Various things have been found, from microplastics and other contaminants from years of sewage overflows to pharmaceuticals like Viagra and metformin, pesticides, and other things we can't pronounce.
