It was nice while it lasted, but it looks like Spring is over for now in Western New York. Hopefully, you didn't put away your snow brush, because snow is back in the forecast for the 716.
Snow Returns To Western New York
A massive arctic front has moved into Western New York, and it will cool us right down. From yesterday's high in the 60s, to a high temperature in the 30s today. It will be windy today with wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour. While we are looking at mostly sunny skies today, snow is expected to move into the area later this afternoon and into Friday.
The snow is expected to be on and off on Friday and into the weekend. The good news is that it the snow amount should be a shovelable amount, but you might need to keep that snowbrush in your car just in case.
Wild Weather Ride Expected For The Rest Of The Month
It looks like March is going to continue to be a wild ride when it comes to the weather. According to Accuweather.com, we will get a shot of warmer weather this Sunday and Monday before we drop to below-average highs again next week.

The swing in our temperatures will continue next week and the week after, with our high temperatures swinging between the 30s and 50s.
