It looks like Mother Nature is set to show New York what winter is all about.

Many forecasters are looking ahead are expecting several winter storms to sweep across the state bringing with them plenty of cold temperatures, windy conditions, and snow.

We could see a major impact across the state with snow and winds starting in the middle of next week and lasting through the end of the Month.


As we saw yesterday rain, sleet, and ice could be major problems with these next round of storms and that could impact travel across the state.

January and February are historically the worst months of the year for winter weather across the state.

We were hit with plenty of nasty winter weather in January and it looks like that could continue through the next couple of weeks.

January was one of the coldest months on record for many parts of New York and it looks like we won't have extreme cold with these next rounds of storms but snow and ice could be the biggest issues.
