The start to an amazing season of musicals is almost here in Western New York. For the 27th year, Musicalfare Theater will produce and put on amazing musicals using local talent in the 716.

Musicalfare Theater Schedule For 2026-26

This year's season of musicals will be one for the entire family. From a blast from the past to musicals the kids will want to sing along to, it is all happening with Musicalfare Theater this season.

Here is a look at their 2026-27 season:

HAIR - September 17 - October 4th - Enjoy a blast from the past as you will hear familiar songs like “Aquarius,” “Easy To Be Hard,” and “Let The Sunshine In" While the Broadway show has some nudity, this production does not.

SWEENEY TODD - October 22nd - November 8th - Just in time for Halloween and beyond, enjoy the story of love, murder, and revenge.

DISNEY'S FROZEN - November 28th - December 20th - Your kids know it, you know it, and the whole family will love Muscialfare's take on this massive Disney movie. This production features all of your favorite characters and the hit song “Let It Go.”

THE WEDDING SINGER - March 4th - March 21st, 2027 - You will be transported back to 1985 in this hilarious musical based on the movie of the same name.

BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING STORY - April 29th - May 16th, 2027 - This Tony Award-winning musical tells the untold story of the musical icon, featuring her greatest hits, like "You've Got a Friend", "One Fine Day", "So Far Away", "Take Good Care of My Baby," and "Natural Woman.”
