These life hacks sometimes are so simple that it will blow your mind that you didn't know them.

This is a life hack that I found a couple of weeks ago and it is life changing. If you are like me and you love to have your windows open during the cooler weather you know that many times you will get scared because the wind will blow doors shut. When that happens it makes a loud unexpected noise and can really scare you.

A lot of people will go out and buy door stoppers to prevent that, but what if I told you that you may already have a built-in door holder in your home?

Check out this incredible life hack.

How crazy is that! Every house I ever lived in had these types of door stoppers and I never knew why they were springy. Now I do!

Here is another "hack" homeowners should know. With colder weather coming you want to make sure you fan blades are moving in the right direction.

During the Summer months, the blades of your fan are supposed to spin counter-clockwise to help push the air down and over you causing the cooling effect.

It is the opposite in the Winter. You want the blades of your fan spinning clockwise to pull up the cool air and push down the warm air. Warm air rises so a lot of times if you don't make the switch you are actually keeping the warm up at the top of your ceiling.
