
$1 Billion Dollar Powerball Winner Announced
One lucky winning ticket was sold from last night's Powerball drawing, allowing the ticket holder to take over $433 million dollars home. While the winning ticket wasn't sold in New York State, there were still several "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York State.
Powerball Winners In New York State
The grand prize winning ticket wasn't sold in New York, but there were 6 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 5 of those tickets won $50,000, while the other ticket had the PowerPlay and won $100,000.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 4-26-66-67-69 with a Powerball number of 09.
Did Anyone Win Last NIght's Powerball Drawing?
Yes, there was one grand prize winning ticket sold from last night's Powerball drawing. That ticket was sold in Illinois. It matched all five numbers and also had the Powerball number to take home the $1 billion dollar jackpot.
This was the first grand prize Powerball winner since May 2nd.

There were also several 2nd-place winning tickets sold across the country. Those tickets won at least $1 million dollars and those tickets were sold in Arizona, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Massachusetts.
Now that someone claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for Friday's Powerball drawing reverts back to $20 million dollars and will build up every drawing there isn't a grand prize winner.
The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night.
