Monday's Powerball drawing was a very lucky one for lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were 5 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York, with one of those tickets winning $150,000.

Powerball Winners In New York State

There were 5 3rd-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State from last night's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Four of those tickets won $50,000 while the 5th ticket has the Powerplay, which triple the prize amount to $150,000.

There were also 79 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 67 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other 11 tickets had the Powerplay and won $300 each.

On top of those winners, there were also 190 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 164 of those tickets won $100, while the other 26 had the Powerplay and won $300.

Did Anyone Win The Powerball Jackpot On Monday Night?

No one claimed the $750 million dollar jackpot last night. There were two $1 million dollar winning tickets sold, one in Georgia and one in Texas.

Since no one claimed the grand prize, the jackpot for the Wednesday Powerball drawing is up to $815 million. This jackpot would be the 7th largest in Powerball history.
