Buffalo is known for its snow. It's a defining trait, for better and for worse, to most around the country when they think of it. While it's generally not as bad as most paint it out to be, the Blizzard of 2022 definitely showed the world how bad it can get at times.

The Blizzard coated most of Buffalo with over 4 feet of snow. Winds were hurricane force peaking at around 80 MPH. Thousands lost power. Dozens died. It was truly a natural disaster that tested the limits of everyone in the Western New York Region. It was anything but the usual snow Buffalo gets, as seen by the tween below.

That's both incredible and terrifying. The strength of this storm was unlike anything Buffalo has ever seen. While snow totals were less than the famous Blizzard of '77, the winds were unprecedented.

It's kind of amazing that many have already moved on from the story considering the large loss of life.

The City of Buffalo is facing a lot of questions about its emergency services and snow removal process after this storm.
