As we inch closer to the opening of the brand new Highmark Stadium, there is tons of excitement about what's on deck to come for members of the Billa Mafia far and wide. The new stadium is going to be one of the most advanced ever made, and we won't realize what we've been missing until we walk through the concourse at 10 Bills Drive.

While anticipation builds on one side of Abbott Road, across the street at One Bills Drive, the demolition of the old Highmark Stadium is well underway, and as that proceeds, we're being reminded that 'The Ralph' is filled with tons of memories from more than 50 years of Buffalo Bills history that filled that building.

One video of the stadium demolition popped up on social media, and it instantly put tons of Bills fans in their feelings.

Watch A Huge Piece of Highmark Stadium Come Down

Like many people who live around Western New York, I have made it a point to drive around Southwestern and Abbott Road more than I would normally as part of my routine to keep an eye on the progress.

However, the video I saw on X (formerly known as Twitter) put me in my feelings.

We've known for a few years that the old stadium would be demolished once the new stadium was done, but I don't think it really registered with most people that it would actually happen until actual pieces of the stadium started coming down.

While no more football will be played at that spot, the location may have a new life that is more than just a parking lot.
