The Miami Dolphins Quarterback received another concussion in a loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 of the NFL season, 31-10. It was his third known concussion in the NFL. It, of course, took him out of the game and off the field until last week. He started for the Dolphins but lost to Arizona 28-27.

The latest concussion occurred against the Bills in the third quarter, with Miami already trailing 31-10. Tua scrambled and took a hit from Damar Hamlin. There was no wrongdoing by Hamlin. Unfortunately, as Hamlin is well aware, sometimes a pretty typical pay can lead to a serious injury. Watch the injury happen below.

Many wanted Tua to retire after this concussion. The others he suffered were also very serious, and these injuries are known to get worse. They also become easier to get.

Nevertheless, Tua is back, doesn't the field, and plays the Bills on Sunday in Orchard Park.

Bills Mafia vs. Dolphins Fans

The Bills Mafia has no love for Dolphins fans. The rivalry goes back to the 1970s, when the Dolphins went undefeated and won 2 Super Bowls, dominating Buffalo every year. The 80s and 90s saw the Bills dominate the rivalry, with Jim Kelly getting the best of Dan Marino on a regular basis. Both teams struggled after Kelly and Marino returned,d but the Dolphins had a lot more success than the Bills in the early 200s as Buffalo went on a 17-year playoff drought.

That brings us to now, where the Bills have dominated the Dolphins with Josh Allen at QB. Tua has been a good QB for them, but not good enough to be the Bills.

Trash talk online between the fans is never-ending, nasty, and often pretty entertaining, too. However, something Bills fans are known for is giving back. Even to rivals. That's where Tua's latest comments come into play.

Tua Tagovailoa Love and Hates Thanking Buffalo Bills Fans

While Bills Mafia hates the Dolphins, they see the bigger picture. So does Tua.  When he suffered this latest concussion, Bills fans donated somewhere around $16,000 to Tua's charity. They do this as a way to thank players, even rivals, for making the games as great as they are. Tua is aware of the donations and has no choice but to thank Bills Mafia.

He did a good job of keeping things real and respectful here. Nice job.

This is the second time Bills fans have raised thousands of dollars for Tua's charity, which is "dedicated to the support of youth initiatives, health and wellness, and other charitable causes." Bills fans donated to it after his concussion in 2022 when he went down against the Cincinnati Bengals.

They've also given thousands to other charities, including Lamar Jackson, who was injured playing for the Bills, and Andy Dalton, who helped famously end the drought.

I was unable to find how much Dolphins fans donated to Tua's charity when he went down with this injury.

The Bills and Dolphins play at 1 pm on Sunday in Highmark Stadium, the home of the Bills.

Go Bills.
