Two more races to go and it’s down to a two-man race.

Jimmie Johnson dominated the day at Texas Motor Speedway, leading 255 of 334 laps, while Matt Kenseth came in fourth, leaving Kenseth trailing Johnson by seven points in the Sprint Cup championship. It’s Johnson’s sixth win of the season.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. finished second, with Joey Logano coming in third. And just behind Kenseth, Kasey Khane completed the Top Five.

Brad Keselowski led 31 laps and finished sixth.

Jeff Gordon lost a tire and hit the wall early in the race and spent a long time in the garage before returning to the track.

Although Johnson and Kenseth have the most realistic likelihood of winning the title, only the bottom four have been mathematically been eliminated from contention. Joey Logano, in ninth place, 91 points back of Johnson, is just barely still alive in the title race.

Phoenix is up next on the schedule, with Homestead completing the season in two weeks.
