After spending last season with the Miami Dolphins, new reports out this morning are saying that former All-Pro Jordan Poyer is expected to re-sign with the Bills.

Poyer played with the Buffalo Bills from 2017 to 2023. He was released last season after his contract expired.

He played in all 16 games with the Miami Dolphins last season, recording 98 total tackles, 51 solo tackles, and 37 assisted tackles.

During his time with Buffalo, he became, along with Micah Hyde, one of the best safety duos in the league. He was named an All-Pro in 2021 and named to the NFL Pro Bowl the next season.

The current Buffalo Bills safety depth looks like this: Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop, Damar Hamlin, Jordan Hancock. Both Rapp and Bishop have delath with injuries over the past several years and have not played a full season.

Having Poyer on the practice squad would give the Bills some depth and veteran knowledge in the safety room.

So what do you think of the move? Do the Buffalo Bills need a player like Jordan Poyer, or should they look to add younger players to the practice squad? Let us know HERE or send us a message using our APP.
