The Buffalo Bills are heading to a bye week after the loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The team, and fans, need a good break to gather their thoughts, regroup, and get ready to finish the season and live up to the preseason expectations and hype.

For some players, there is more pressure than others to excel, and succeed, and win! This is true both on the field and off the field.

I have four kids under the age of nine. I have three boys age 9, 7 and 5 and have been a fan of the Buffalo Bills since I was their age. After watching the pregame interview on ESPN featuring Josh Allen, I am convinced that he is not only the guy we need on the field, but perhaps, more importantly, off the field.

Josh Allen is the real deal. He is as genuine as it gets and even though he is at the top level in his profession, and living out his childhood dream of being a pro athlete, he stays true to being a good person. But what about the elephant in the room that follows the Buffalo Bills? What IF Josh never wins an NFL championship? The answer that Josh gave to this question solidified the fact that he is a perfect role model for a generation of young men in Western New York.

Josh is all class! My kids and I joke all the time that we should invite Josh over for dinner sometime. Josh, if you're reading this, you are welcome at our family's table anytime!
