If you have eyes, you’ve noticed there’s something different about Josh Allen this season.

Is it that he’s had his best season ever? Maybe. Is it that he finally could get the coveted MVP moniker? Perhaps.

But I feel like a friend of mine said it best last night, just before the Bills triumphant 27-25  defeat over the Baltimore Ravens:

“Josh Allen is hot. I get it. It’s the hair that’s finally getting to me.”

To those of us who have been on the “Josh Allen is a smoke show” train for a while, this could seem appalling– but I understand why it may have taken my friend a minute to climb aboard.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback has been growing his hair out this season, and has had a few different styles over the years. When he does take the cap (or, er, helmet) off, we’ve seen Josh with everything from very short crew cuts, to various fades. And once in a while, we get to see him on the scruffy side. Just look at some of the hair we’ve seen the soon-to-be-MVP have over time...

Josh looking pretty unkempt ("pretty" being the key word) is common and welcome...

A long time ago, Josh wore the clean-cut tight haircut…

And of course, Josh with something kind of in between. (Sorry for the Diggs pic- but you have to admit, it was a good one.)

This season, though, the long locks have come out. Why has he grown it out?

It’s anyone’s guess. Maybe fiancé Hailee Steinfeld likes her man with longer curls? Maybe it’s a good luck charm/ superstition? Maybe he is just embracing his MVP status and realizing that his time is better spent studying plays than in the barber chair?

Whatever the reason, Josh was spotted by the Bills’ social media people showing off  “the lettuce.” Watch that flow– you know you want to.

We can’t wait to see him make that same move when he scores against the Chiefs this Sunday.

Can I make a case to the powers that be at CBS (locally WIVB) that will be airing the game this Sunday at 6:30pm?

We don’t hate slow motion.

That's all. Enjoy.
