Kellie Pickler To Try Her Hand At Acting

According to cmt.com,  Kellie Pickler is going to be trying her hand at acting. Pickler will have a recurring role on The CW's hit show 90210 this fall. The date of this apperance has not been released yet. However, the new season begins Tuesday, September 13th at 8:00pm. She will be playing Sally, who is the cousin of the lone sexy, scruffy cowboy, Austin. Pickler will also perform her hit "Tough" on the show. This would make her  the latest country star to add acting to her resume. The most notable is fellow American Idol alumni,Carrie Underwood, who's acting debut was earlier this year. In a recent interview with CMT, Pickler stated "Well my zip code growing up was a long way from 90210, so it will definitely be acting. I'm really excited and a little bit nervous about it, but will be a fun and unique place to perform 'Tough.'" Watch for Kellie's debut sometime this September.
