Large Fire Damages Varysburg Home

It was a busy afternoon on Sunday for the firefighters working to put out a blaze at a house on Centerline Road.

Easter Sunday is not necessarily a day off for volunteer fire departments. This blaze was posed on the Fire Buff NY Twitter page. With the gusts that were prevalent on Sunday, especially on the higher elevations of Wyoming County, it had to be even more difficult to fight.

There is a strong wind advisory for all of WNY on Monday as gusts n excess of 70mph are predicted.
