Lewiston Police Ask Facebook To Help Identify Mystery Liquid in Lost Bottles
Everyone knows there's only one thing to do when you need an answer to a question -- ask Facebook.
That's just what the Lewiston Police did on Tuesday.
Police posted photos of a mystery liquid contained in bottles, which according to witnesses, fell off a yellow dump truck.
Officers were called to Black Nose Spring Road where more than 30 plastic bottles were found along the roadside. Witnesses told police they saw the items fall off of a yellow dump truck that was driving in the area just before 11 a.m.

Concerned that the substance may pose an environmental or other health hazard, police asked the public -- via social media -- if anyone had information regarding the yellow dump truck or what it was carrying.
And there's a good reason people ask Facebook for answers -- according to WGRZ, a few hours after posting the call for help, the vehicle and driver were located:
"...the substance in the bottles was identified as organic soap. According to police, the driver was cited for "having an unsecured load."
