
Massive Gasoline Law Coming In New York State?
For those who struggle to make ends meet, there could be help on the way if New York State does what California is doing for those who need gasoline.
As we get ready for the busy travel season, there will be millions of people hitting the roads to visit friends and family. But for some, the trip may not be as far this year as it has in the past. The prices of everything have gotten out of hand and paying for gas may be difficult.
But on state is trying to make sure that when a natural disaster or other factor comes in to play, gas prices won't spike.

Recently, the Governor of California announced that there will be legislation aimed at preventing price spikes.
The Assoctiated Press has reported that, "California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law Monday aimed at preventing gas prices from spiking, marking the Democrat’s latest move in a battle with the oil industry over energy prices and the impacts of climate change".
Can New York State be far behind? Governor Kathy Hochul has made it clear that New York State is going to lead the way when it comes to "going green" and reducing the state's carbon footprint. Electric cars legislation, ,fossil fuel heat regulations and other environmentally friendly laws are all on the table here in New York State. It could mean that drivers won't see gas prices spike here in New York as well.
