Nate Burleson Bows To Bills Mafia With Outstanding Apology
Bills Mafia who watched the pre-game coverage on CBS were not thrilled with at least one of the analysts and he was begging for forgiveness after the game.
When Bills Mafia loves you they are loyal to you. Just ask Ryan Fitzpatrick. But when you make the Mafia mad, it's really hard to get back in their good graces. Just ask Chris Collinsworth or Nick Wright (Not that Nick Wright cares...he's a Chiefs fan and he loves that the Mafia hates him).
Now, the Mafia has a decision to make.
Will they allow CBS Analyst Nate Burleson back in the family? Or are they revoking his membership card?
You may remember the entire CBS team made a trip to Buffalo to broadcast here before the Bills played the Chiefs just a few weeks ago. They all jumped through tables and Burleson even made a bet with one of the fans. It's a bet that he lost because he bet against the Bills. He thought the Bills would lose to the Chiefs at home, something that didn't happen. Burleson literally lost his coat in that bet.
Yesterday, he did it again. He picked the #7 seed Denver Broncos to upset the Bills. We all know how that went for him.
Immediately after the game, he said that he was waiting three hours to get it off his chest and that he was sorry. He wasted no time in saying that he was wrong.
So now the question needs to be asked. Can we forgive him for betting against the Bills not once, but twice in the same season? I can't remember if it was Bill Cowher or Matt Ryan who pointed out though that every time Burleson bets against the Bills, they win. So maybe he's our lucky charm. Keep betting against the Bills Nate, especially if it means the Bills will get a 'W' when all is said and done.
It takes a lot to admit when you're wrong. I have to give him credit for that. He's a man of his word. I vote for the Mafia to forgive him. What do you say Mafia?
