More Than 250 People Died in New York After Receiving the COVID-19 Vaccine

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control, more than 250 people have died across New York after getting vaccinated against COVID-19. The CDC breaks the deaths down for each vaccine brand. The reports that the data is based on come from the CDC's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, also known as VAERS. To be transparent, the website says that this information can be reported by anyone. So this information comes with a disclaimer from the CDC,

VAERS accepts reports of adverse events and reactions that occur following vaccination. Healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public can submit reports to VAERS. While very important in monitoring vaccine safety, VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. Most reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they are subject to biases.

In New York, using the VAERS system, 263 reports have been submitted of people of any age dying after receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The data provided below is from the onset of vaccinations up until October 15, 2021.

39 people have reportedly died after receiving the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine
104 people have reportedly died after receiving the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
117 people have reportedly died after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine
3 people have reportedly died after receiving an unknown COVID-19 vaccine

Again, please understand the disclaimer that the CDC provides with this data. Even though it is coming through their website, there may be errors or biases, etc. That does not discredit the reports, but I want to be very clear about the numbers provided above.

The deaths reported above are for New Yorkers of all ages, races, genders, etc. I did not specify any of those criteria in my search.  While I pulled a report for all states, the data above is specific to New York. The criteria for my search via the VAERS website is below:

VAERS ID 1204726-1 - (COVID19 (JANSSEN)) (1203)

Patient vaccinated on 3/7/21, on 4/2 presented pain in left leg and some redness, on 4/3 some dizziness, lightheadedness, difficulty with vision in right eye, some slurred speech; on 4/5 his health agravated and EMS was called and taken to hospital; spouse informed that patient had a blood clot in stem of brain; on 4/6 patient died. No autopsy performed

VAERS ID: 1238270-1 - (COVID19 (JANSSEN)) (1203)

Patient was already in hospital for severe COPD. While there, he was given J&J Covid-19 vaccination. Approximately 11 days after vaccination, patient developed vomiting that could not be controlled. He later developed abdominal pain that worsened and also could not be controlled. Intravenous pain killers eventually hastened his passing.

Got vaccine on 1/15/21. He was tired right away, bedridden the next 3 days. He couldn't breathe so he was taken by ambulance on 1/18/21. He was in hospital for several days. put on remdesivir cocktail for 10 days. Slowly getting worse and died in hospital on 1/30/21.

VAERS ID: 1738259-1 - (COVID19 (PFIZER-BIONTECH)) (1200)

Patient came in to receive his 3rd dose of Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. He said he qualified as immunocompromised. The pharmacist on duty stated that he appeared to be in good health as far as she could tell. Team member claimed he was disoriented upon checking out for his purchase, they helped him to his car. He crumpled to the ground and team members helped him sit up in his car and waited with him for EMS. After a few minutes we were told that he became incoherent and this continued when EMS arrived. EMS medic came to the pharmacy around 12:30pm to let the pharmacist know the patient was despondent. Upon later information from the family, the patient had passed away at the hospital due to a brain bleed.

As you can see from the reports, there are varying circumstances in each that make it impossible to say 100% that the COVID-19 vaccine was the exact cause of death. Again, I am reporting data found on the CDC's website, this story is not to promote or discredit COVID-19 vaccinations.
