One of the hardest things in the world is trying to predict the weather. It can literally change in a matter of 5 minutes. While we were basking in the sun and 80-degree high temperatures last week, the start of this week saw a huge drop in our high temperature.
Well, get ready to get back on the weather rollercoaster as about mini-heatwave is coming back to New York State.
The National Weather Service in Buffalo Tweeted out that we will see a crazy jump in our forecasted high temperature for this Friday and Saturday, not only for Western New York but for all across New York State.
In Buffalo, we will see a jump of almost 20 degrees from Thursday to Friday. From a predicted high of 65 on Thursday to a high of 85 on Friday before dropping down to around 79 on Saturday. Of course, the rollercoaster doesn't stop there because we have a huge drop from Saturday to Sunday. Western New York will drop from 79 to 58 in just 24 hours
But is it not just Western New York. We will see this rollercoaster of highs and lows across the entire State.
Rochester goes from 87 on Friday to 65 on Sunday. Syracuse goes from 86 to 66 from Friday to Sunday, and Albany which will get an extra day of nice weather goes from 91 on Saturday to 69 on Monday.
In Binghamton, it won't be such a big swing in temperatures. The high on Friday is 83 and it drops down to 68 on Monday. In New York City, it goes from 89 on Saturday to 72 on Monday.
So get ready for a mini summer vacation, at least weather-wise, later this week across New York State.
