The idea is to fill the bags with some sort of non perishable food items and leave them by the mailbox this coming Saturday, May 10th!

Stamp Out Hunger

Letter carriers across America will be delivering mail and delivering hope to families in need. According to the post from NALC.org "Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox on the second Saturday in May, and your letter carrier will do the rest".

If you don't have a bag, no problem. Simply leave the food in another bag or somewhere it can be grabbed by your letter carrier when they stop by this weekend.

The Need Is Great

There a more and more families that face some sort of food insecurity each day across the United States. The reality is, it is also right here in our own backyards as neighbors might be facing the challenges of trying to feed their families.

"13.5 percent (18.0 million) of U.S. households were food insecure at some time during 2023".

You can help "Stamp Out Hunger" this weekend!
