Did you know that New York State has an official dog? Former Governor Cuomo signed a bill into law creating an official dog for New York State. Our official dog is definitely fitting of New Yorkers and what we represent.

Thirteen other states have official state dogs. New York's official state dog, which was adopted in 2015, isn't a specific breed, but rather an occupation,

The working dog shall be the official dog of the
state.  For the purposes of this section, "working dog" shall mean:
