New York State Temporarily Suspends ALL Construction Starting Sat

There will be no lane closures or road closures in New York State starting Saturday.

New York State is suspending all construction and wants ALL roadwork, both State and private companies to stop. Unless there is an emergency roadwork, there will be no closures in the State due to the eclipse and the influx of people coming to New York.

The mandatory suspension on construction closures will begin on Saturday and run through the day after the Eclipse, April 9, 2024.
