New York State Employee’s Paychecks Delayed

If you work for New York State, your paycheck may be a little late this pay period.

The budget continues to be unsettled in New York State and there was concern that employees paychecks may be put on hold until an extension was issued on Monday.

Until an agreement between state lawmakers can be reached, New York State's previous budget will be in effect. State employees paycheck may be delayed a bit this pay period.

In other budget news, Governor Cuomo announced that the Buffalo Billion would still be included in the next budget's plans and that the issue of free college tuition is still being pushed.
