The NFL has decided to flex a game in week 11.  While it will not change the time that the Bills vs. Chiefs game will be on, it will affect who will get to see it.

Every year the NFL releases its schedule early and it often puts what they think will be some of the biggest games in primetime slots.  However, over the last couple of years, they've reserved the right to "flex" certain games if the matchup starts to look like it won't be as good as they originally thought heading into the season.

They decided to take advantage of that right and flex a game from primetime for week 11.  They are going to move the Jets vs. Colts game that was scheduled for that week and move it to a 1pm game.  Neither of those teams have lived up to the hype quite yet this year.  They will then move the Bengals vs. Chargers game from their 4pm slot to the primetime game at 8pm.

That means that the Bills vs. Chiefs will be the only game being held in the 4:25 pm slot that day and will be considered a standalone game that will be visible nationwide.  So while the flexing of other games won't change the time of the Bills/Chiefs game, it does mean that more people will get to watch.

It's a game that many people will want to have their eyes on anyway.  The Chiefs have had the Bills' number the last couple of years in the playoffs but the Bills seem to always do well against the Chiefs during the regular season.  Look for the Bills to square off against the Chiefs at 4:25 pm on November 17th on CBS.
