NHL Team Reunites Soldier With Family in Best Way Possible
This. Is. Awesome.
During Wednesday's Anaheim Ducks-Edmonton Oilers game, a soldier was reunited with his wife and two kids -- including one boy he had not yet met. But the reunion came with a twist.
The catch is the Ducks duped everyone into thinking there was a huge technical glitch while making it appear as if Sergeant First Class Robert Vandenberg Jr. was trying to speak over the Jumbotron via Skype when it reality he was in the building ready to surprise his family.
You can tell the family looks bummed that they can't talk only to erupt with joy when they see him in person.
We don't care what happens the rest of the season -- this is a moment that will be tough to top.
