No Best Buy Stores Closing in Buffalo Area

Best Buy has released the locations of the 50 stores it announced last month it's planning to close nationwide.  There was some concern that one or some of the stores in this area might be on the list, but only one store in Nw York state is slated to close and that one is in New York City.

California was the hardest hit with seven stores slated to close with Illinois and Minnesota close behind with six each.  All six of those stores in Illinois are in the Chicago area.  Five stores in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area are closing.

Stores in Kansas City, Missouri and Scottsdale, Arizona have already been closed.

All are considered under-performing stores, but business apparently has been good at Best Buy's four Buffalo area stores.  That means those jobs are safe.
