The big day is almost here! The storm has moved in. The shopping is done and hopefully you are home, safe with family and friends. The next step is to wait for Santa Clause to arrive!

After a busy week of dealing with blizzard warnings, flight delays and impatient people, it is time for some holiday cheer and there may be no better way to get in the spirit than to remember the magic of the season.

The good new is that we all will have a white Christmas this year! Santa and his tiny reindeer will be just fine going from rooftop to rooftop to deliver the gifts that we have been dreaming about. There is an easy way for parents and kids and children of all ages to follow jolly old Saint Nick on his voyage.

The NORAD Santa Tracker will be up an running once again this year on Christmas eve.

On Dec. 24, we have the very special mission of also tracking Santa using the same systems we use every day: satellite systems, high-powered radar and jet fighters. For more than 65 years, NORAD and its predecessor, the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) have tracked Santa’s flight around the world.

We have three young kids who are incredibly excited for Santa to be coming. To watch Christmas through a you child's eyes is truly special and I can only hope and pray that you find that comfort and magic as well this year.
