A local kid from Western New York found himself in the Lauren Alaina music lyric video for her new song 'Getting Good'. Ryan Sumi of North Tonawanda was in Nashville and attending Alaina's fan club party where her staff asked for his permission to be in the video.

Her song 'Getting Good'is off her new EP released earlier in March 2020. The six-song EP includes that current single, along with a song she wrote for her step-father called 'The Other Side', "Ladies in the 90", "In My Veins," "Somebody Else's Problem" and "Country In Me"

"I can’t believe we have finally put out new music. I’m so excited to share where I’ve been the last few years. These six songs are my heart! This music shows the ups and downs. These songs are my heartbreaks, my inspiration, new love and loss. I hope you love them", she wrote on Instagram.
