Nobody saw this one coming. Can you imagine if he is the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills? Philip Rivers is interviewing today for the Buffalo Bills head coaching position. He is currently coaching high school

Philip Rivers who played long time for the San Diego Chargers and finished his career with the Indianapolis Colts is interviewing for the position with the Buffalo Bills today. He of course, came back in a pinch with the Indianapolis Colts where everybody was rooting for him.

Philip Rivers, who is 44 years old, is a grandpa and just finished playing this past season (officially?) has ironic fact with Josh Allen. The first playoff game Josh Allen ever won was against Philip Rivers and the last playoff game Philip Rivers ever appeared in was against Buffalo and ironically, now he could be the head coach of Josh Allen.

Who are the Buffalo Bills interviewing today? Here is the schedule for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job:

  • Friday: the Buffalo Bills will interview Mike McDaniel and Philip Rivers
  • Saturday: Anthony Lynn and Anthony Weaver
  • Sunday: Mike Udinski

At a press conference earlier this week Bill's owner Terry Pegula and Brandon Beane mentioned how others would be in the room for interviews including Laura Pegula, Terry's daughter and part owner, Josh Allen and Bills COO Pete Guelli.

Even after this weekend the interviews will not stop for the Buffalo Bills. They mention that they will be trying to interview some of the staff that are on the final four remaining teams that are playing in the conference championships this coming Sunday. The AFC Championship will be at 3:00 p.m. and the NFC Championship will be at 6:30 p.m. both this Sunday.
