Politician Will Shadow Nurse After Nurse Outrage After Comment “Probably Play Cards…”

Nurses all over America are ticked at Washington State Senator Maureen Walsh for saying that "probably play cards for a considerable amount of the day."

Washington State Senator Maureen Walsh (R-Walla Walla) made the comment while debating a bill on the Senate floor earlier this month and now a group of nurses are petitioning on Change.org. They were looking for signatures to have the politician go shadow a nurse for an entire shift and see what is like. They were looking at one million signatures at a goal and have already reached over 800,000 and Walsh has already agreed to go shadow the nurse community.

want Legislation to take what Nurses say seriously and really take into account our concerns. And if we have this presence we need to make it known that we deserve safe staffing, a safe workplace and mandatory breaks.
