What Is The Pollen Count For Allergies In New York State

There is some horrible news for anyone who suffers from allergies in New York State.

The summer weather has been sneaking in a few times this spring and across New York State, the trees, flowers and grasses are starting to bloom, blossom and grow!

Although it all looks pretty, some people just want to hit the fast forward button to when the spring is over and the trees are done dumping pollen!

New York State On The Worst List?

According to at least one report, portions of New York State have made it to the top of the list when it comes to the worst places to be if you suffer from pollen allergies.

Pollen.com has put New York City, Albany, Concord, New Hampshire; Burlington, Vermont; and Boston and Worcester, Massachusetts on its "worst cities" list.

For portions of Western New York State, like Buffalo, the pollen count for the next few days is HIGH! The culprits this week will be many of the trees like maple and ash.

There is a good chance you are seeing allergy medication flying off the shelves near your neighborhood.

Other Worries This Spring Across New York State

While we suffer through the allergy season, there is another reminder from the New York State Health Department about ticks! As more and more of us get outside, we need to take precautions for these creepy little bugs.
