Professor Survives Terrifying 70-Foot Fall in Icy Crevasse [NSFW VIDEOS]

Western Kentucky University professor John All has made it through the kind of ordeal you usually only see in movies.

All fell down a crevasse while in the Himalayas doing climate research on Monday in Nepal.

These NSFW videos (for graphic language) he shot immediately afterward detail the harrowing experience. He estimates it took him four or five hours to free himself.

All broke five ribs, as well as one of his arms. He also dislocated both of his shoulders and had internal bleeding, not to mention scuffed up his face and battle frostbite.

After managing to return to his tent, he sent a text seeking help before a helicopter came to his rescue and brought him to a hospital.
