You may have heard about the foundation that has been set up by Buffalo Bills defensive back Josh Norman to help small businesses here. They just got a big donation from a Western New York Business.

Rich Products has announced that they will be making a $75,000 donation to the Buffalo Business Blitz foundation that has been set up by Buffalo Bills' Josh Norman and Mayor Byron Brown.

The purpose of the Buffalo Business Blitz is to raise funds to support local small businesses that have been hit hardest by COVID-19 restrictions.

“I am humbled by the support of the local business community. Thank you to the Rich family for their generosity. We are now $75,000 closer to hitting the half million dollar mark. I encourage everyone to continue to donate so that we can help as many small businesses as possible.” - Josh Norman

The $75,000 will certainly help them to get to their goal of half a million dollars to help out.

“As a company that started as a small business on Buffalo’s West Side more than 75 years ago, Rich’s has a deep appreciation for the vibrancy small businesses bring to our community. We’re especially pleased that WEDI, one of our partners within the West Side Promise Neighborhood, has been selected by Starz 24 to administer the grants.” - Jon Dandes, corporate vice president of government relations and special projects

If you would like to contribute to the cause, Norman is encouraging people to keep giving by visiting the website.

If you are one of those businesses that could use some funding, Small businesses can earn up to $2,500 in financial assistance awards. Fill out an online application form from January 13th-18th.  The site will be live starting on Wednesday, January 13 at 9:00 a.m.: http://www.wedibuffalo.org/buffalobusinessblitz.
