The Music Is Art festival is the brainchild of Buffalo-born Goo Goo Doll bassist Robby Takac and because of COVID-19, this year the festival will be all virtual.

The festival will be held online at the Music Is Art website starting on Saturday, September 12th.

I had a chance to talk with Robby about how the music festival will work this weekend and how you can be a part of it.

According to the website site, The Music Is Art foundation and festival encourages people to find their musical voice and think about how music impacts their lives and the lives of people around them.

Money raised from the multi-day festival is used for several different Music Is Art programs in Western New York. Some of the programs include music instrument donations, scholarships, and music artist showcases.
