They've added some different players, but they don't look any different from last year.  Good goaltending, marginal defense, no scoring.  That combination dealt the Buffalo Sabres their third straight loss Sunday afternoon in Washington 3-2.

They finally got some secondary scoring with Tyler Ennis and Marcus Foligno scoring the Buffalo goals.  Prior to that the Sabres had been depending on the line of Thomas Vanek, Jason Pominville and Cody Hodgson.

So after starting with back to back wins, the Sabres drop to 2-3 on the season.  They host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
