I was looking at the Section 6 sports season calendar, and as of Monday, August 18, teams will have their first possible practice! There are six practices required prior to scrimmage or contest, and the first one starts Monday the 18th for all high school fall sports in Section 6.

While football gets a lot of attention, there are so many great fall sports that are happening! From cross country, to field hockey, to golf, to soccer and swimming, thousands of student athletes in section 6 are ready to get things started!

Support your local team this fall. You pay school taxes and may even know some of the families or perhaps have your own kids participating. It is a great way to support the community and get involved.
