A few months ago, we told you it was coming. Now, we're down to the last couple of days before Shake Shack opens their brand new location in Western New York.

The restaurant that so many people have been talking about for decades is finally starting to spread their wings in Western New York. In May of 2025, they opened their first location at 1531 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. Now, they're getting ready to open their second location on Transit Road in Clarence.

Where is Shake Shack's second location in Western New York?

Shake Shack is opening up their new location in the same location where Spot Coffee used to be at 5205 Transit Road in Clarence.

They will be open daily from 10:30 am through 11:00 pm starting on Wednesday, April 15th.

This is their 69th location in New York State. To celebrate opening day, the first wave of guests will get custom Shake Shack tote bags.

Shake Shack is giving back starting on day 1

On opening day, Shake Shack will be giving back as part of their purpose to Stand for Something Good. They will be donating $1 for every sandwich sold at the Sun Vet Shack on April 15 to FeedMore WNY, "supporting their work to offer dignity, hope and a brighter future by providing nutritious food, friendship and skills training to Western New York neighbors in need."

What is Shake Shack?

Shake Shack is known as a fast casual restaurant that features things like gourmet burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, and a large variety of milk shakes.

While many fast food places have shakes like chocolate and vanilla, Shake Shack offers flavors like Oreo Cookie Funnel Cake, Banana Pudding, Campfire Smores, and more.

This will technically be their second full-service location, but their third location in Western New York. They've also got what they consider a "limited-service" location at the Angola rest stop on the New York State Thruway. It's one of their over 255 locations across the country.
