SPCA Waiving Adoption Fees On Special Days This Summer
Looking for a new pet for your family? You're in luck! The SPCA is waiving adoption fees this summer to help you find your new family member.
Adopting pets is the way to go
When you're looking for a new pet for your family, you should always consider adoption. There are so many loving pets that are just waiting for you to come and get them. Most people who have adopted will agree that there is nothing like the bond between a pet that has been adopted and their new owner. It helps to get the pets out of the shelters and will give you a friend like you've never had before.
The SPCA is waiving adoption fees this summer
People who are planning to adopt a new pet soon anyway have a full summer to look and save money on the adoption fees when they adopt from the SPCA of Erie County. They've announced that they're going to waive fees for adoptable pets on Wednesdays all summer long. They're calling it "Waived Fees Wednesdays" and it's going on through August 27th this year.
Things to keep in mind for "Waived Fees Wednesdays"
To qualify for the waived fees, your new pet must be adopted on a Wednesday at the SPCA’s 300 Harlem Road shelter.
You cannot place a hold on a pet on another day and come to adopt it on Wednesday.
The adoption must be completed by Wednesday. So you cannot just put a hold on a pet on a Wednesday and come back to pick it up on a Thursday. The entire transaction has to happen on a Wednesday before August 27th.
Pets in the "If The Fur Fits" trial adoption program are not eligible for this promotion.
Animals must be at least 1 year old or older. Younter pets do not qualify.
