Buffalo Bakery Offers Perfect Sword-Shaped Sabres Snack

Buffalo is buzzing about the end of the drought. The Buffalo Sabres are not only in the playoffs, but they won the Atlantic Division! Now it feels like everyone is getting in on the action. There's even a bakery that is offering a Sabres' sword-shaped snack.

DiCamillo Bakery has a Sabres' sword-shaped baguette

You've seen the Sabres' beer swords that they sold at the games this season, right? Well, now, you can get a little something to go with that beer when you stop into DiCamillo Bakery. They've got a sword-shaped baguette.

While they weren't orignally sure what shape the item should be, they were sure they wanted to do something to celebrate and support the Sabres.

"We talked about hockey sticks and hockey pucks. Then, somebody came up with swords. They look great, and we thought, 'this is perfect.'" - Matthew Di Camillo

The "sabre" baguette has a handle that is covered in poppy seeds and the blad itself is a baguette.

Where can you get the sword shaped baguette?

They're hoping that these swords might be the Sabres' good luck charm and they want to sell a lot of them. They're only going to be available at Di Camillo Bakery locations in Western New York while supplies last.

They've got 4 locations in Williamsville, Lewiston, and Niagara Falls (2 locations).

The Sabres will start their playoff push by taking on Boston on Sunday night at 7:30 pm at KeyBank Center if you want to be sure to have one before gametime.
